26 years’ Experience as a Realtor. I have lived on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1976. I was the first of my siblings to be able and attend one school district from 1st grade through graduation. After attending college at Pensacola Junior College, University of Southern Mississippi and Ole Miss, I returned to where my roots were and assisted my mother with our families real estate business, Carzoli Realty, while also starting a career in the casino industry. After 20 years in the casino industry, I decided to give real estate all my time and energy and I could not be happier. My goal is to earn the full trust of all my clients and fellow Realtors® no matter what their real estate needs are: buying, selling, property management and/or consulting. Nick grew up in Ocean Springs before the casinos and hurricanes changed the landscapes in a time where kids could ride their bikes from one side of the city down to the beach and be back as the street lights were turning on.
Nick’s parents started a real estate company in the early ’80’s. Nick would start his day when his dad went to open the one-room office. Nick would clean up in order to earn doughnuts from an adjacent business before school, do his homework while his parents worked with clients, and even assist on inspections after hurricanes looking for damages more easily seen from a 10 year olds perspective. As Nick grew up, he assisted with answering the phones, receiving and depositing rent checks and was still in charge of cleaning the office (even after it moved to the Government Street-Washington Avenue intersection).
After graduating from high school and college, Nick had a brief 20 year casino career in the table games department of 3 Coast casinos, Nick then returned to real estate, only now as a licensed agent and Realtor.
Nick truly believes a Realtor’s job is to not only assist his clients with their buying, selling, renting, investing, managing or consulting needs but to help the coastal communities housing market be stronger, not just in property values, but in quality home owners who strive to maintain and show pride in home ownership. Nick has a strong commitment to “quality over quantity” and strives to make himself readily available to his clients, day or night.
Nick is approaching his third year with Southern Oaks Realty and his sixth year as a licensed Realtor. Nick’s first certification is as a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) in honor of his military family roots and for the many service members who call the Coast “home”.

In addition to her career in real estate, Taryn is an instructor at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College teaching Hospitality and Tourism Management to future industry leaders in South Mississippi.
Taryn is a passionate about her home here on the Coast and its image and loves helping people buy and sell in our area.
Taryn lives in Woolmarket with her husband Joe, their children Jackson, Jaylyn, and Jonah, and their dogs Dixie and Rebel.
Kim Ivy-Talley has been licensed since 2013 in Mississippi. Kim has a focus on being a buyers agent. Her knowledge and contacts gained over the past 5 years have given her the tools she needs to make buying a pleasant experience for her clients. Kim has been a Gulf Coast resident since 2007 moving to the coast from North Mississippi. Kim is married to Keith Talley and together they have six children and live in Biloxi.
